Take an amazing guided tour of this spectacular mountain as you explore its’ vast picturesque countryside and look out upon the most dramatic scenery that Jamaica has to offer.

Your adventure begins with pickup from your Kingston hotel, accommodation or other location in Kingston. You will be given a brief introduction of the activities of the day which begins with a drive up to Mavis Bank (approx. 45 minutes). A 4wd vehicle will take you from Mavis Bank through villages and breath taking landscapes to Jacob's ladder where the hiking begins.

The distance to the peak from Jacob's Ladder is 9.2km or 5.8 miles. On the journey to the peak, expect to see spectacular scenic views and diverse flora and fauna. Many species of birds characteristic of the area can be seen all the way up the trail to the peak. The Peak Trail passes through natural untouched Forest and it is said that on a clear day you can see Cuba from the Blue Mountain Peak. As a special treat, you will experience a brief tour of a Jamaican coffee farm and taste the world famous Blue Mountain coffee.

NOTE: After making a booking you will be sent the payment link via email to make a deposit. Balance required in cash on tour day. A deposit of 25-50% is required depending on number of travelers. 

Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refund 7-days prior to scheduled departure, with the exception of fees.
  • 50% refund up until 3-days prior to scheduled departure, with the exception of fees.

    This was a great time. Arrival was at the decided time not “Island Time”. The drive showcased the mountains. At the head of the trail is where we began. The hike to Blue Ridge summit was physically difficult, but well rewarded with views of the island.
